Software Engineer - Exterity HQ, Dalgety Bay, Fife

Software Engineers

About the Role

We are searching for Software Developers to join our merry crew of talent. You will be at the heart of our Software Development team.

Some of the biggest names in the world will rely on you to provide a solution to their signage or IPTV desires. From top football teams to the world’s best-known broadcasters, the list of customers you’d be dealing with are spread across all industries and all over the world. Whether it be well known local customers such as Celtic FC, the UK Home Office and Goodwood, to international customers such as Cannes Film Festival, Bank of China and PSV your code will be displayed throughout the world.

At your desk, discussion is encouraged; this is not a quiet office. How else will we learn what you can do and how will we learn from each other? Poker sessions with straight faces and cards are used to estimate effort for each project and task. Every two weeks we have retrospectives where we look back and either pat ourselves on the back or clear the air of anything we think could have gone better. We work in the real world, mistakes happen, and we all learn from them.
