The Fife Business Award comes off the back of strong results in 2018 for Exterity, with scores of new customers including Inglis Riverside Stables (Australia), the New England Institute of Technology (USA), ParisLongchamp (France), Saxon Hotel, Villas and Spa (South Africa), Six Senses Zighy Bay (Oman), Thomson Reuters India and many more. This commercial success was supported by significant investment in the company’s workforce, leading to a 20% increase in Exterity staff around the world by the end of 2018, and the recent opening of a new software innovation center in Porto (Portugal) to complement the company’s core R&D centre at its Dalgety Bay headquarters.

Presenting the award on behalf of Fife Chamber of Commerce, Ross Oliphant of category sponsor EQ Accountants said: “In a particularly tough award category, and operating in very competitive and fast-moving markets, Exterity’s business and investment strategies impressed all of the judges. The company has identified future growth markets and is pursuing a carefully planned programme of investment in technology and skill that is already delivering tangible results.”

“Since our inception in 2001, we have always believed that the best route for Exterity was to provide the best solutions, brought to the market by the best people, whilst sticking to our roots as a Fife business. Winning this prestigious category at the Fife Business Awards 2019 is a tremendous achievement and testament to our continued investment in R&D and in the best talent, alongside our strong ties with the advisors and investors who have helped us turn our vision into a market-leading company.”
