Exterity Showcases Latest 4K IP Video & Digital Signage Innovations at Broadcastasia 2018

Singapore – June 2018 – We announce that this year we will showcase new products and enhancements to our end-to-end product portfolio at BroadcastAsia 2018, Suntec Singapore from June 26 -28, 2018.

Our solutions will be showcased at stand (6K3-11), channel partner Ideal Systems’ stand (6F4-04), as well as on the Sony stand (4N4-01). Key product highlights at BroadcastAsia include:

  • New Smart Control™: This powerful new software app brings control of key IP video system applications and end points, including non-Exterity devices such as Smart TVs, into one central location. Smart Control enables simple day-to-day management of a mixed device IPTV system and brings the Control apps for ArtioSign and ArtioGuest into one place. Commands include the ability to control individual and groups of devices: turn them on/off, set volume/mute/unmute, change channels, publish signage to groups of screens and more, all with familiar drag-and-drop ease.
  • New ArtioGuest®: Announced at ISE 2018 and now available to order, Exterity brings its new interactive guest experience portal to BroadcastAsia. Built from the ground up, ArtioGuest delivers a seamless, interactive TV and video experience for hospitality guests on any device. At BroadcastAsia, Exterity will also demonstrate how the flexible UI can be applied to other vertical markets with ease.
  • Updated ArtioSign®: The latest version of Exterity’s ArtioSign digital signage application includes the ability to add live Twitter feeds to signage and automatic conversion of imported videos.
  • New AvediaPlayer™ m9405 4K Media Player: Available this Summer, the new AvediaPlayer m9405 Media Player is the final piece of the 4K puzzle that enables a complete end-to-end, all-Exterity 4K workflow. Key features include 32GB storage to support media-rich digital signage; a cool, fanless design; 4K Ultra HD video quality and, like all Exterity media players, cost-effective Power over Ethernet (PoE).

Jamie Hind, Regional Sales Director Asia Pacific at Exterity, said: “Asia Pacific is a highly innovative region that leads the rest of the world when it comes to cutting edge AV technologies. Over the past year, we’ve witnessed incredible business growth, particularly in the corporate and finance, hospitality and venues and stadiums industries. We have been evolving our product portfolio to deliver on current and future technical requirements, so organisations can communicate more effectively with customers and colleagues. Visitors to our stand will see our latest technologies in action – from end-to-end 4K support through to powerful new software that provides central control of applications and end points within the Exterity system.”

We have rapidly expanded our presence in Asia Pacific, driven by accelerated business growth in the region. Among recent news, the company has opened a new office in North Sydney where we can host regional demos and training. We has also expanded our on-the-ground staff with the appointments of Stanley Chang as Regional Manager Asia, Singapore; Stephen Tsui as Regional Manager Asia, Hong Kong; and Greg Bright as Solutions Consultant, Asia Pacific, who joined Miguel Mendosa and Jamie Hind in Sydney, providing local and Asia Pacific-wide pre- and post-sales support.
