Exterity Debuts at Satis Expo Paris with Innovations in IP Video and Digital Signage
Edinburgh/Reims - 31 October 2018
We will showcase the latest enhancements to our complete end-to-end product portfolio at SATIS (November 6-7, 2018 in Paris). All demonstrations will be held on Exterity’s booth in Dock Pullman, stand A3. We are exhibiting at the show for the first time to support the increased market traction for our IP video and digital signage solutions in France.
Visitors to the show will see Exterity’s IP video product portfolio comprising:
Central management platform for managing the end-to-end IP video solution, with ArtioSign and ArtioGuest built in. The powerful new Smart Control app brings control of key IP video system applications and end points, including non-Exterity devices such as Smart TVs, into one central location.
Exterity’s integrated digital signage and IPTV solution enables organisations to deliver dynamic HD/4K signage to any display. The latest version includes numerous product feature enhancements including the ability to add live Twitter feeds to signage, automatic conversion of imported video, meeting room status display, and support for Samsung Tizen TVs.
Launched in 2018, ArtioGuest delivers a seamless, interactive TV and video experience for hospitality guests on any device. At the show, Exterity will also demonstrate how the flexible UI can be applied to other vertical markets with ease.
AvediaPlayer Media Players
Exterity’s high performance digital media player range is enhanced by the new m9405 Media Player, which is the final piece of the 4K puzzle for a complete end-to-end, all-Exterity 4K workflow. Key features include 32GB storage to support media-rich digital signage; a cool, fanless design; 4K Ultra HD video quality and cost-effective Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Used to capture live digital TV and radio channels from any terrestrial, satellite or cable source, which can be streamed directly over an IP network to any device.
Enables streaming of live and pre-recorded video up to 4K and audio directly onto an IP network.
Additional recent product range enhancements include support for NDI, SRT and Tizen:
- NDI Support: The AvediaStream Transcoder platform will be the first of Exterity’s wide range of products to integrate NDI (Network Device Interface). Expected to be available by the end of 2018, it will enable organisations to easily send high-quality video from their NDI live production environments to their existing IP video infrastructure.
- SRT Support: Exterity will provide SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) support in its Encoder and TVgateway product lines, starting with the new IP-to-IP gateway, shipping in Q4. The open source transport protocol and technology allows organisations to securely and reliably deliver video between remote sites for distribution to all the screens in their Exterity system.
