Exterity appoints Jamie March as Sales Manager, Australia as company continues to gear up to meet strong growth
We have today announced the appointment of Jamie March as Sales Manager for Australia. Jamie previously worked at Midwich Australia, managing a portfolio of 30+ brands, working with end users, consultants and system integrators of every size. He joins Exterity at a time when the company is seeing strong growth in Australia and New Zealand and has been adding skilled people to extend its footprint in the region.
An increasing number of businesses across ANZ are seeking out dynamic AV technologies that they can use to transform the way they communicate and share information, making it a hugely important market for Exterity. We’ve been investing in talent to help us continue our growth in the region and I know Jamie’s industry experience and breadth of local knowledge will make him an excellent addition to our team.
The appointment follows rapid business growth for Exterity in the APAC region – which saw revenues increase by 30% over the last two years – and has been accompanied by an expansion of the regional team and a move to a larger office in Sydney. Most recently, the company announced the Parliament of Victoria and Australian motorsport park The Bend as new customers.
Jamie has more than 15 years in the audio-visual sector, starting with his own business, which focused primarily on Home Theatre Systems, Home Audio, Multiroom Control and Master Antenna Television (MATV) in both residential and commercial environments. That experience and the projects and relationships Jamie built during his time at Midwich Australia, where he was Business Development and Account Manager, enable him to bring a huge breadth of experience to his new position. Jamie will be based in Exterity’s North Sydney office, reporting to Jamie Hind, Regional Director, Asia Pacific.
