Recorded TV

You can program Exterity’s AvediaServer appliance to continuously record up to 30 selected channels from any source, over a time window individually specified for each channel. An administrator can then make entire programmes or selected clips available as on-demand content or for download by users to their own personal computers.

You can display these channels on standard TVs and AV displays using Exterity AvediaPlayer Receivers, or on user PCs via Exterity Avedia PC Clients.

Recorded TV has applications in many industries.

• Hospitality: Time-shift news and sports of interest to foreign guests for access at a convenient time.
• Education: Record key TV channels or events for later teaching use.
• Corporate: Monitor broadcasts for news concerning your industry or company, archive for later analysis and distribution.
• Sporting venues: Record streamed live match coverage (e.g., from an Exterity encoder) for advertising use, or later review by coaches and players.
