Product explanations

• TVgateways are used to convert live TV from satellite or terrestrial sources to streaming media on the IP network.
• Various types of Encorders are used to convert audio and video content into network-friendly data
• Depending on the modules installed AvediaServers provide many functions such as the guest user interface (portal), electronic program guide (EPG), custom configurations, video on-demand (VoD) and integration with Property Management Systems (PMS).
• IPTV receivers also known as set-top boxes (STBs) connect to the IP network to receive the content made available on the network by the head-end products.  These receivers are then connected to TVs in order to display content to guests.
