Exterity Expands European Sales Team to Meet Growing Demand for Building IPTV

London, 29th September 2009: The appointment of Arman Aygen as Southern Europe
Sales Manager and Darren Bailey as Northern Europe Sales Manager reflects
Exterity’s ongoing success as it continues to expand internationally.  Both
will report directly to Exterity’s International Sales Director, Richard
Phillips.
The new sales managers will develop the relationship Exterity has with AV,
Broadcast and ICT resellers across Europe, working to effectively integrate
building IPTV into the solutions they offer their customers.
“Increasingly, organisations are looking to leverage investment in an IP
network by integrating their TV distribution.   Within Europe, demand for
building IPTV in both new builds and refits has surged, making this a vital
region in our expansion strategy,” commented Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity. 
“Both of our new sales managers bring with them many years of relevant
experience, and so their understanding of the European market-place, coupled
with their extensive technical knowledge means that Exterity is ideally placed
to take advantage of the burgeoning popularity of building IPTV.”
Arman, who is fluent in French, Turkish as well as English, has worked
extensively across Europe, most recently as Business Development Manager at
Witbe SA in Paris, which develops and operates software solutions, delivered as
a service, to manage the performance of information systems.  Arman has a proven
track record in business and management with a strong technology edge, and will
be responsible for France, Iberia, Italy, Greece, The Balkans, Turkey, and
Cyprus.
Darren, who has held the position of pre-sales manager at Exterity for the past
three years, will cover Germany, The Nordics, Poland, Russia, Hungary, Austria
and Switzerland.  Prior to joining Exterity, Darren was Systems Engineer Manager
at global IP network specialist, Fibernet.  Earlier in his career he gained 17
years’ telecoms experience in the military, where he specialised in electronic
engineering, information systems management and remote systems installation in
regions such as Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cyprus, Germany and Italy.
