Exterity Adds Netvue To Its Partner Portfolio

11 September 2006

IPTV specialist to distribute and install Exterity's network AV products.

London, 11th September 2006: Exterity, a specialist in network audio-visual (AV), has added Netvue, an IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) specialist to its partner portfolio.  Under the terms of agreement, Netvue will use Exterity's entire portfolio of products including the isocket, idaptor and tridaptor, to deliver IPTV solutions.  With these products Netvue will be able to deliver television and other multi-media content across a data network in any building.

"Netvue is set to become one of our key partners," commented Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity. "By using our technology Netvue will be able to expand its existing broadcast-based marketplace to include corporates, delivering high quality distributed TV anywhere, at anytime."

Earlier this year the two companies completed their first installation at ENVY, a brand new TV post-production facility in central London. The system there enables users to watch Freeview, Satellite and DVD, as well as a channel fed from their video matrix, at a variety of end points around the building including the reception area, edit suites, PC desktops and client areas.

"It is only by partnering with companies such as Exterity that Netvue can bring networked TV and AV to offices both large and small," explained Jonathan Rackowe, Managing Director, Netvue.  "Exterity's products fit nicely with our overall strategy of delivering high quality, easy to use IPTV solutions."
