Exterity to Demonstrate Market-leading Building IPTV Solutions at InfoComm 2011 |
Atlanta, Georgia, 3rd June 2011: Exterity, the Building IPTV specialist, will be showcasing the latest additions to its range of TV and video over IP products at InfoComm 2011, which is taking place from 15th-17th June at the Orange Country Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Following the success of last year’s show, Exterity will be showcasing the benefits of its extensive range of Building IPTV solutions, including the newly launched AvediaServer 3.4. Exterity’s AvediaServer is an IPTV application platform that enables organizations to distribute and manage video content using their existing IP network. With enterprise reliability and performance, this latest version has easier maintenance and improved capabilities, including the new AvediaPlayer Desktop application. AvediaPlayer Desktop enables users to view any video content through a web browser on both networked PCs and Macs. Central control of assets and channels provides improved security and users have seamless access to all live TV and VoD content regardless of whether it is viewed on a TV using an AvediaPlayer receiver, or a computer using AvediaPlayer Desktop.
“InfoComm is a hugely influential show and Exterity is delighted to be showcasing its range of market-leading Building IPTV solutions at the event,” says Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity. “In today’s recovering economic climate, organizations need to balance customers’ growing expectations of service against costs. As such, we look forward to demonstrating how Exterity can integrate seamlessly with existing AV solutions to extend their life as well as integrating with specialized applications to produce solutions tuned to organizations’ specific needs.”
Internationally recognized, Exterity’s IPTV expertise offers guaranteed capture, storage and distribution of live TV and video sources. Exterity’s IPTV solutions maximize the IPTV network to a significant degree, regardless of the size or format of the workspace. They facilitate high-quality distribution of video and digital TV content on the IP (LAN) network to an almost unlimited number of users with no loss of picture quality, while offering the extra advantage of centralizing management, set-up and inspection.
