Exterity Set To Double Number Of Channel Partners Over The Next Year

24 November 2004

Network AV Company to expand on early success with help from new channel partners.

London, 24 November 2004: Exterity, a specialist in network audio-visual (AV), has today announced its plans to double the number of channel partners that it has over the next year.  In the most successful twelve months since the company was formed three years ago, Exterity has seen considerable expansion as it continues to grow from strength to strength. The company now has over 20 customers thanks to such partners as AV integrators, ITM.  The scale of future opportunity for resellers in this fast growing sector will help drive the recruitment of new channel partners, allowing Exterity to rapidly increase its customer base and to reach all UK businesses looking for a networked AV solution.

"We have been blown away by the success of Exterity over the past year and firmly believe that our iSocket technology and products can help generate a new revenue stream for our channel partners," commented Colin Farquhar, chief executive officer, Exterity.  "We are looking for partners who will work closely with us and in return we will provide training, accreditation and joint marketing". Exterity has seen a consistent growth in market opportunity with many customers specifying requirements for IP (Internet Protocol) based network solutions when detailing new projects. Using Exterity, customers can cost-effectively replace a traditional co-axial TV distribution system for a future proof solution, which can deliver more content and services.

Designed to integrate with Cisco IPTV systems, Exterity??A?A?A?s iSocket technology enables the distribution of a multimedia material such as video, TV and DVDs through a data network.  To do this, Exterity simply extends an IP or Ethernet network capability, with multimedia services using a combination of its iSocket receiver, idaptor, server and TV gateway products.  The result is high quality digital video delivered anytime, anyway, and anywhere.
