AvediaServer 3.5
The latest version of Exterity's IPTV application server offers several advancements. For example, it is now possible to pause live TV using the AvediaPlayer Desktop application.
It will also allow administrators to:
- Create, list and delete recorded assets via 3rd party systems with our new Recording API
- Control of IPTV system when a specific event occurs, for example mute or turn off the screens when an alarm system activates using our new Action Triggered Events feature
- Display different backgrounds on each individual receiver or group of receivers, allowing administrators to tailor displays to meet the visual needs of different areas within their organisation
- Allow monitoring of delivered content by automatically discovering networked computers using AvediaPlayer Desktop
AvediaPlayer Plugin
The AvediaPlayer Plugin integrates with a wide variety of digital signage devices and other dedicated application platforms to display HD TV and video content. This allows organisations to implement and customise engaging digital signage to distribute information and advertise products and services.
AvediaPlayer Viewer
The AvediaPlayer Viewer enables delivery of live HD TV and video streams via PC desktop applications including Windows Media Player and Microsoft Office. Organisations seeking to incorporate video and live TV into applications such as PowerPoint and Outlook will now be able to do this across their entire network.
This will allow businesses to develop corporate TV channels within Outlook that run alongside employees’ emails, and incorporate live TV and centrally stored video assets into corporate presentations to make content more impactful and engaging.
AvediaPlayer Viewer also supports the integration of HD video content into a webpage, allowing organisations to develop compelling and interactive corporate intranet sites and materials for employees, visitors and end-users using their existing IP network.
