The global marketing activity is based in the company’s headquarters in Dalgety Bay, Fife. They are recruiting for a Head of Marketing, reporting into the CEO, to develop the marketing strategy for the business. With a passion for technology, the ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional and will have strong experience of back to back marketing in a technology environment.
The successful candidate will be ultimately responsible for execution of all marketing activities including:
- Channel marketing / partner enablement
- Public relations
- Ongoing communications to channel, consultant/specifier, and end-user communities
- Launch new products into market
- Brand management
- Major trade shows and support for partner-led events
- Marketing including social media and website management

Embedded Software Engineer – ref ESE1/08
We are recruiting for a Graduate or experienced Embedded Software Engineer to work with the engineering team to develop real time applications using C or C++. A good understanding of IP networking, preferably gained in development is highly desirable.
Exposure to web development including HTML, CGI, PHP and JavaScript as well as an understanding of MPEG2, MPEG4, audio and video devices would help set the ideal candidate apart as would experience of Linux operating systems.

Software Engineer

German Channel Sales Manager (Based in Germany)

About the Position
In order to develop the German Market, we are looking for a Channel Sales Manager. On a day to day basis you will be working with our pre-sales team proving quotes, producing and delivering presentations and building relationships with all internal and external partners.
Your typical day will involve product demonstrations to new sales prospects, the designing of and advising on IPTV installations, supporting channel partners, providing proof-of-concept testing of end-user solutions, and providing specialist advice to Exterity’s reseller base.
Finding and bring on board new system integrator resellers. Building strong relationships with business partners and system integrator resellers through technical, sales and marketing support to address and achieve quarterly and annual targets within all chosen market sectors.
About you
The key requirement is that you can sell a technical product effectively. There is pre and post sales support and advice from the head office team of technical experts and the marketing team ensure that we are the product of choice. To excel in this role, you must be able to motivate yourself and deliver promises and you will have experience of the AV market. Commitment is essential and a big part of our culture, as is passion and the drive to do things better.
- Demonstrated successful track-record as Channel Sales Manager in above areas
- Experience in the AV market

Exterity needs a Channel Sales Manager, who may have worked in AV channel partner sales environment, to work on a day to day basis with the pre-sales team proving quotes, producing and delivering presentations and building relationships with all internal and external partners. Based out of the regional office in Reading you will cover the whole of the UK with the main focus on the south of England.

There is pre and post sales support and advice from the head office team of technical experts and the product marketing team ensure that we are the product of choice. Your regular contact with resellers and management of customer enquires will build on the support of the rest of the business to help us meet or exceed our ambitious growth targets. Exposure to either AV, IPTV, multicasting, convergence or multi-media over LAN or IP networks would help set the ideal candidate apart from the crowd.
