About the Role

Exterity Inc. is recruiting an experienced, technical and customer-focused Solutions Consultant to support our Channel Sales Managers with our current and expected growth across North East region of the US.

Rporting to the VP Americas and working alongside the Exterity team, this position will support the Sales Team with the identification and development of sales opportunitiesand existing deployments with our channel partners and thier end-clients. the position will be based in Metro New York and surrounding areas, and travel across North America is expected.

The main focus of the role is pre-sales technical support and in some instances may also be responsible for the implementation of customer installations as a contracted specialist , supporting our channel partners.

Main duties include:

  • Support the company sales team to help specify products for new customers, reply to tenders, and carry out web-based and on-site demonstrations and training.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for products
  • Focusing on building relationships with technical teams of our partners
  • Deliver product update training, support demonstrations and POCs in conjuntion with our partners to the end users
  • Generate revenue by providing commissioning services
  • Occasionally it may be necessary to assit the central support team and the customer to debug and troubleshoot any problems faced during the installation process

About You

The successful candidate will have

  • Strong technical knowledge of at least one of the following areas. Strong knowledge in both areas will be seen as a distinct advantage.
    • Digital AV Technologies
    • IP networking solutions
  • Evidence of an ability to create innovative technical solutions to time and budget
  • Experience of working in a pre-sales role, within the AV and or IT industry in the US
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to build customer relationships and provide phenomenal customer service
  • Can show they are confident to stand up in front of an audience and present the company, a product, a solution or a technical demonstration in an effective and accurate manner.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills

About the Role

Reporting to the Southern Europe Sales Director, and as well as providing ongoing admin support to the SEU region, the Inside Sales Representative will identify business opportunities by developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers in order to increase interest and qualify leads for the Southern European Sales Director.

Our SEU Sales Team has been operational for 5 years and has grown over this time and this newly created role is available due to expansion of the region.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Support the development of Sales pipeline, for the Southern Europe Sales Director via outbound calling, email communications and other direct marketing methods.
    • Transfer opportunitie to Sales Director at appropriate stage for further development and closure.
    • Maintain and expand database of prospect for the SEU region
  • Account Management - act as point of contact for customer account, providing information as requested and also proactively send marketing collateral generating interest and turning into qualified leads.
    • Schedule and facilitate regular calls with sales prospects building communication with potential sales opportunities
    • Qualify all sales leads, allocate as appropriate, and drive leads through the sales process by initiating face-to-face appointments with Sales Team
  • Follow up with Sales Directors post sales meeting. Determine result of respective meeting and follow-up appropriately to close the loop
    • Ensuring CRM is up to date with post meeting information
    • Generate quote paperwork as required
  • Meet phone and email communication goals in accordance with strategic plan, developed by Sales Director
  • Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made, in Salesforce.com, producing regular activity reports as requested by Sales Director
  • Act as a bridge between Marketing and Sales. Co-ordinate local marketing initiative in SEU region, and work toward increasing the number of leads generated.
  • Admin Support for SEU Sales Director - ths will involve associated admin tasks such as diary management, reception duties (for office dealing with telephone calls,) processing expenses for SEU Sales Director and other admin tasks.
    • Coordinate activities required for local marketing events, trade shows and training taking place in the region - eg dealing with initiatives, catering, logistics and marketing collateral

About You

  • Proven inside sales track record
  • Strong telephone presence and able to demonstrate experience of dialling numerous calls each day
  • Experience of working with Salesforce or other similar CRM
  • Excellen verbal and written communication skills
  • Language skills fluent English and knowledge of Spanish or Italian (or both) would be an advantage
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Some travel may be required so you should be keen to travel as needed
  • A degree in International Trade BTS would be an advantage

About the Role

This newly created role has been established to provide office and administrative cover for our busy Dubai Sales office. We are seeking a strong Office Manager to oversee the efficient and effective running of the day to day operations of the office and provide administrative support the Sales Director. This will be a busy and challenging role which the successful candiadate will be able to make their own.

Reporting to the Sales Director for MEA, responsibilities include:

Office Management

  • Reception - act as first point of contact for external customers including managing the reception, meeting and greeting clients to the office and directing them appropriately.
  • Administration of the Office runs properly - paperwork, banking, IT, utilities payments, TECOM and local authorities
  • In charge of all office consumables
  • Liaise with HQ in UK as needed and assist with queries as required

Admin Support

  • Support Sales Director, Technical Manager and other team membes as required - diary management, managing all travel arrangements for the team, screening calls. Compiling expenses.
  • May include assisting with HR projects such as holiday management for the team
  • Managing intelligent projects databases from entering project information to contact the different parties involved in the project to reach the right contacts and arrange for a meeting
  • Provide admin support for training courses run in the Dubai office eg room bookings, invites, catering etc.

Accounts and Credit Control

  • Working with HQ accounts team to ensure that any outstanding monies due from MEA clients are chased up and actioned accordingly
  • Push for payment of proforma invoices to minimise delay in shipping new orders
  • Liaise with customer to complete letter of credit promptly
  • Following up with clients and accounts to make sure that new clients have their accounts set up properly

Operations

  • Support HQ team to help ship orders to MEA customers including, chase up revised POs, missing shipping and courier details, customer creation forms
  • Execute the RMAs process from and to HQ's and from and to clients
  • Execute the LOANs process
  • Shipment follow-up with HQs and clients
  • Backlog follow-up
  • Contact with the different couriers we work with
  • Customs goods clearance

HR

  • Holidays leave requirements
  • Off sick leave requests
  • Expenses

Sales Support

  • Compile quotes at the request of Sales Directors and Sales Managers
  • Create opportunities in Salesforce and ensure end user details are captured

Marketing

  • Tradeshows invites and events, info post show. Support team with their attendance at trade shows including markeitng and administrative support that this requires. Arrange calls, meeting.
  • Entering business cards information into the CRM
  • Contact with local suppliers
  • Payments to local suppliers

About You

Previous experience as an Office Manager or EA (Dubai experience helpful) within a sales capacity office
